Slow Flow : A fusion of slow flowing movement and careful attention to poses mixed with lively music and a fresh, light hearted approach to learning the fundamentals of poses. Iyengar style focuses on proper form, alignment and movement and provides you a true joy of Yoga.
Hatha: This is an excellent class for the beginner or the individual that is returning to Yoga after a long break. This is a slow paced and gentle class that will provide and excellent foundation of basic Yoga poses. Hatha Yoga, the Yoga of effort, is a system of physical postures called asanas, which were developed to heal the body by releasing tension, building strength and creating a stronger mind-body connection. Each physical posture, or asana, has benefits that help to create balance in the mind, body and spirit.
Vinyasa Flow: Vinyasa flow yoga is a combination of fluid movements and deep rhythmic breaths. This connection between movement and breathing benefits well-being and physical health. It also helps to cultivate a calm, focused and stress free state of mind. Each pose flows fluidly and dynamically into the next pose. It is a vigorous, exhilarating, all over workout designed to tone and stretch the whole body, relieving stress and create a deep experience of physical and mental balance. Advantages of Vinyasa flow yoga are defined muscle tone, increased mobility, improved circulation and hormone balance to name a few.
